About Us

WHAT IS 38 BLOOD ALLEY SQUARE?

38 Blood Alley is an anarchist social space on unceded Coast Salish Territories (“Vancouver, BC”). We aim to create maintain a space that is accessible to everyone in order to facilitate discussion on struggles against capitalism, the state, resource extraction, and all forms of oppression. A variety of events occur monthly, including shows, discussion groups, workshops, and fundraisers.

Our collective is completely non-profit and volunteer-based. Our space is open for anyone looking to host an event that falls within the previously mentioned principles, and we are always looking for people wishing to join us or help out in any way possible.

All events are free or by donation. We also have a collection of hundreds of zines that anyone is welcome to take or borrow from, on topics including accountability, insurrection, revolutionary theory, DIY projects, direct action, history, and others.

ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility Info: The venue is situated on the south side of Blood Alley Square. There are several cobblestones, but there is ramp access and it’s an open space once inside. There are fewer cobblestones to navigate coming from Abbott vs Carrall. The washroom is not fully WC accessible, the doorway is about 27 inches wide.
